Sue Ann Thomason is a native to West Virginia and has lived in Ohio most of her life. As an Appalachian artist she has worked in several art forms and fell in love with working with paper. She loves the feel, texture and natural aspects of paper. Working with something so plain and basic is exciting to her. She creates a small work of art by using a combination of materials in her cards. Each card takes several hours to complete and the thought process is challenging yet the end result is very rewarding. Sue Ann believes in sending your thoughts, well wishes and love in your own handwriting as well as in material form. She feels since the home use of computers we have lost the intimate and personal touch that only a handwritten card can give us.

"Nothing can ever replace the feeling you have when you open your card and inside there is a handwritten note from someone special. It brightens any day and speaks volumes to the recipient. She hopes you enjoy her cards but most importantly, send them to the ones you care about and love."
