Dorothy is a native New Englander who moved to Coshocton in 1956. Her desire to become a photographer came from traveling through England and Scotland. At first, she took the usual landscape and flower photos. Now, her interests lie in people and finding unusual things to photograph. Dorothy has won many awards for her photographs and displays each year in the Sandwich Fair in New Hampshire. One of her photos is in the permanent collection at the Zanesville Art Center. Her work has been accepted in the Women of Appalachia show at Ohio University-Zanesville, and had a one woman show at “The Winds” in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

"Although I enjoy being in shows, my photos are done mainly for my own enjoyment."
